Scarborough Alliance Retirement Planner. For the Scarborough website, a design had been laid out on paper in the form of hardcopy workbooks when Signal Post was first contacted. Our challenge was to figure out the best way to present information on funds, Social Security, cost of living increase, expense planning, and other retirement issues online. All of that, and stay in sync with the hardcopy workbook! To meet our client's goals, we created a step-by-step process that obviated the need to call and request a paper workbook. We helped to educate the client on user usage patterns, survey placement, and online strategy. By providing the administrative backend, we helped our client save on costs they would otherwise have spent hand-coding HTML and instead reduced the HTML to a small number of templates.

SuperScripts.com. Superscripts is a CGI archive site where paid members have access to a large repository of pre-written PERL/MySQL programs, including Shopping Carts, Classified Servers, Personals Servers, mail forwarding programs, search engines, and more. While Superscripts has its own in-house programming teams, some of the more grueling protocol level scripts require extra assistance, and that's when Signal Post is brought in.

Orientation.com. Orientation.com is an international news, weather, and classifieds portal translated to multiple languages. Signal Post was brought in as a subcontractor on this project to create localization routines for the Orientation registration page, so that the TOS page and the registration forms would be in the appropriate language for each user, based on context clues and input from the user.
